Hello,
I have an interview with loma linda for the Accelerated BSN program next week. Has anyone other applicants gone through it yet? What type of questions can I expect? Also, does anyone know if the chances of acceptance are good after a passing interview (the percent of interviewees accepted)?
I'm also applying to Mt. St. Mary's, Western U for entry level masters, and some cal states, most of these applications are due Nov. 1, 2008 or later, or early next year.
Thanks!
Cal State's (and UC"s) are cheaper than private schools. CSU would still be less expensive because they are on a semester system, while LLU is quarters. So CSUN would be around $10,000 cheaper. I am still waiting on the packet with all the financial information. So this information is still tenative.
I have my interview with LLU this morning. I'll keep you posted. Thank you for your replies!
Levina: I am so so sad...I had my interview with LLU earlier this week. It went really well and just enjoyed hearing about the whole program. However, I had NO idea the program was just over 2 years long. I thought it would be much quicker than that, but realized LLU takes summer break. So, LLU is definately much more expensive due to the 7 quarter system. CSUN's A-BSN program is only 15 months (4 semesters) and will be significantly less expensive. LLU would had been my first choice had the program been a little more accelerated....Good luck to you!!

$8000 per semester??! are you serious? isn't cal state supposed to be cheaper compared to UC's? are you paying non-resident tuition? if you're SDA, i think it's a good option to go to loma linda. they require you to take 12 units religion classes, and mandatory chapel every wed.
