You should probably stick to an on campus program. Why did you "fail out" Did you not put forth the effort? Not seek out appropriate help when the warning bells went off? Apply to other schools or sit out the required waiting period for BCHS and reapply.
Be advised that you will not qualify for Excelsior College unless you completed more than half of the RN program, to include clinical classes. There are other criteria that might get you in the door, such as holding an LPN license. Check this out before you waste any time looking at the program specifics.
i don't know much about excelsior but was told throughout nursing school that it is quick, expensive, and convenient. not much clinical time required. but i was under the impression that a degree through this program is not accepted everywhere. if anyone has any knowledge on this i would be interested to hear about it. i am vaguely aware of some fiasco in alabama or maybe it was atlanta where they stopped accepting this type of nursing degree, and nurses protested until they rescinded that decision. i hope someone can give us all a little more info.
