I just found this site and am so excited a place like this exists! I just graduated from my LNA course with LNA Health Careers and can't wait to begin working!! I noticed that this might be a good place to share experiences with others who are thinking about becoming an LNA and I just can not say enough good about the experience I had with my training company. I've recommended it to several of my friends and also my sister.
I take my state test tonight....any words of encouragement??

I'm not an LNA, so no advice, but just wanted to say :groupwelcome: and good luck on your licensing exam!

Good luck on your exam!
I went to LNA Health Careers too. I had NO problems w/ the state test... and I got all three jobs I interviewed for (I accepted two of them!).
Good luck, and hope you enjoy being an LNA.

You got all 3 jobs you interviewed for?? Wow! That's wonderful! Good for you!
By the way, I PASSED!! No problems whatsoever. :)
Congratulations, and best wishes on the job hunt!

Here I am six years later having found your posts! I am starting LNA classes on May 29th with LNA Health Careers. I am very excited to be finally making something of myself. I have been a caregiver/direct support professional/personal care support provider in the past eight years so I wanted to go further and get a better pay. I am grateful for words of encouragement that were shared. I hope I do as well as you ladies did!

I got a great LNA education there, but if they are still offering BLS certification through National Safety Council, dont do it. They offer a discounted rate for their students but hospitals and nursing schools wont accept almost anything except American Heart Association. It was a big to do a few years back for my LNA class and we all ended up getting our money back because we had to take BLS again.
