Hello, has anyone attended/graduated from one of LIU's (Long Island University- Brooklyn) NP programs? If so, please share any insights into quality/etc. I was recently admitted .

Haven’t attended nor am I a recent grad BUT I did apply. Completed and submitted my application on Feb 11th. Waiting to hear back. May I ask how long after you submitted did you hear back? Thanks

@sunnyRN did you heard back from them? They recently contacted me to send course syllabi to determine whether or not I took nursing research and health assessment.

Yes they asked me for the same thing. I haven’t heard back but emailed someone from admissions and they said I should hear something in the next few weeks.

Hey I actually got into the FNP program at LIU Bk! I heard back Friday. I also got into Dominican Colleges FNP.

does anyone know really anything about LIUs FNP program? I can’t find much info on their website. I also see it up for accreditation in 2 weeks

Congratulations!! Are you saying as of now, it’s not accredited?

They are accredited, the board is coming to do a review in the next two weeks.

Waiting on a decision from LIU. Got into PACE FNP. Waiting on Lehman college (won’t find out for Lehman till May!!). Wait is killing me.

Thank you! Of course getting into Lehman will be great. It’s considerably cheaper than LIU and PACE! Although, cheap doesn’t necessarily mean great!
