LIU Brooklyn Spring 2020

Hi Everyone,

I was recently accepted to LIU's nursing program starting spring 2020 (January). I was wondering if anyone on here is currently in the nursing program or has any information about the program? From some research I've done, it looks like some people have had problems with the administration but I'm more curious about the actual professors, class schedule, exams etc. Please reach out if you have any info or if you have been accepted as well!

That's great! I put down my deposit last week and I think I am going to meet with a counselor this week. Have you registered for classes yet?

Same! And I’m going to meet with a counselor next week and I think that’s when you register. Do you know if there’s any forum for our class or any other person accepted that’s in our class?

Nope I haven't been able to find anything, that's why I posted on here to see if anyone had any other information!

Hi all! I applied and waiting on a decision. Where will you all be living? I live in Manhattan now but it’s too expensive while going to school full time.

Hey! Can I ask a prereq question? I see on their site that they require Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Microbiology, Algebra, and Statistics. So this mean that you have to take General Bio as a prereq? Can Micro be substituted for that? I've tried emailing them numerous times but I never get an email back lol
