Littman Plum tubing

Nurses Uniform/Gear

If I get into my nursing program (my odds are very very good but I'm trying not to count chickens before they hatch) I'm going to reward myself with a good quality stethoscope because I'm expected to have my own for clinicals. I've been working very hard in school to keep my grades at a 4.0 and I deserve a reward. Odds are that I will need to add amplification to it, but I'm wanting to try the Littman Cardiology IV first as I've heard that many people are able to avoid amplification with this stethoscope and it's also compatible with the Eko amplification unit so that I can add amplification down the road if I discover that I do need it.

I have been shopping around for stethoscopes, as I expect to hear sometime in the next 14 days about my program. I think I really like the plum tubing, but computer monitor photos are very different from computer to computer and some photos are showing it a more pink-purple than others, which show it as a more true purple.

If you have seen the Littman plum tubing in person, would you say it's a very pink-purple, a pink-purple, a true purple, a blue-purple or a very blue-purple. If you can compare it to a colour found in a common logo or object (eggplant, specific variety of plum, specific flower) that would also help me out a lot. I'm particular about purples.

Thanks for any help.

If you are truly that particular about purples, you should probably go see one in person. Personally, I think the more loud or obnoxious the color, the less likely your scope will grow legs and run away.

Plum Image from Work N Gear website --appears same color as plum fruit -maybe you can see if there is a store near you to check if in stock--not at my local store. Online price less than 75.00 today.

Thanks for the pricing tip! It's been out of stock locally (they have all the other colours of course) and my friend went to *her* local shop in another country and got me photos that she says are true-to-colour. Her photos are pretty close to the colour that you've got in that image. I was seriously seeing like three different colours on different websites. I'm pretty sure that some of the websites are badly photoshopping a black stethoscope rather than taking another photo.
