I'm starting NS in September and have started shopping for my stethoscope. I've done lots of research and someone recommended the medisave.net website on another allnurses thread.

I work with someone who has an ADC and they are constantly borrowing other peoples scopes so I think you made a good choice. I got my littman the other day! I decided to get the master classic II and I love it I have just listened to my heartbeat and my dogs but it sounds like nothing I have ever heard in a stethoscope before it is so loud and right there! Good luck!!
Great find. I was scolded when I first told my peers I cheaped out on buying a legit stethoscope. It was a $13 SpragueLite from another store's closeout section :icon_roll. Feeling shameful, I went home and tested the thing 3-4 different times until i gave up not finding any sign of sound at the pulse sites.
I put in a 2-Day Air rush delivery to make sure I got the new steth before tomorrow's first skills lab session and received it promptly with my stylized free engravement. It's been around my neck for hours now, and I can hear much better with my new Classic II SE. Thanks OP
