I hope this is okay with the powers that be here on the board.
I have a Littman Cardiology II stethoscope laying around the house. I haven't used it for several years. I no longer work in a setting that requires a stethoscope. Though it's kind of old, It's perfectly good, I could always hear great with it.
Any nursing students out there on a tight budget? Or nurses that need a decent stethoscope?
I'm offering it up to anyone who has a need, free of cost. Please send me a PM with why you need it. I'll review the PMS in a few days and mail it out to whomever seems to have the worst need.

Maybe place a call to a local college. I bet they could assist you in finding a new home for your scope.
bumping for any more replies?
Have you tried posting this in the Student Nursing forums? Perhaps their may be someone in the pre-req forum who does not have one yet, but is anticipating starting school soon. This would be a perfect time for help...since they usually slam you with a heap of books the first term ($$$).
Good on ya for doing this =)

Great idea about posting it in the student nursing forums! I remember nursing school (soooo long ago) and how it would have been great to have a quality stethoscope. Very sweet of you to offer it here.
