Has anyone applied to or had an interview with LCOM for the upcoming cohort? It seems weird that I can't seem to find anything about their interview process on here except from like 2006.

Hey everyone. Anyone applied to their new grad training program and received a call from the nurse recruiter yet? If so, have you scheduled an interview yet?

Some people posted on FB that it was a preliminary call and that they would be calling next week in order to schedule interviews sometime later.

Oh ok. Thanks for the heads up. Have you gotten a call today? I spoke to the recruiter briefly but wasn't sure when he is going to call me back to schedule for the interview.

I haven't gotten a call this time or the other times I've applied. :uhoh3: That place must not be for me.

aww I'm sorry :( Keep your heads up. Something will come up eventually. It is tough out there so keep on applying. I was fortunate to have the time to apply before they took down the posting few hours later!!

Since I'm an old new grad, that "something" is grad school. I've noticed a lot of postings now also desire a certain graduation date - another criteria to filter through all the applicants.

hi everyone! I also spoke to the recruiter yesterday and he said as of then, no decisions had been made on interviews but it would happen soon, if anyone lands an interview, please let us know :)

Thanks Silvermermaid!! I was gonna call him tomorrow about that, but I noticed that the posting was up again earlier today. So I'm guessing they wanted to extend it for a bit longer. Did you apply to the ER or OB posting?

I applied for ER ...def not OB :) How about you? He asked which area I was interested in most..so I thought I may as well shoot for my top choice.

I picked medsurg. Hopefully he'll tell us how many positions are going to be open for each area.

Did anyone get a TWO preliminary calls - one last week and then another one this week? My classmate did and she thought that was extremely odd.

I'm still waiting for mine. My classmate and I have the extra same qualifications. :(

Back to staring at the phone.

I have talked to the recruiter a few times since I applied. Prob about 4. Today same thing, no decision yet but very soon, within a few days.......

Which school did you go to perioddrama? Local? BSN vs ADN?
