Most State Boards of Nursing sell their list of nurse's names. I know mine has been received by a company when my name has RN after it on the envelope. Many BONS are asking for our e-mail addy's too so that is a possiblity.

Also, if you have given you e-mail to a friend who is traveling they may be looking for a referral bonus. Many companies are giving them to nurses who don't even work for them.

I have heard of Liquid Agents. But I don't remember whether it was good or bad.

I'm getting drowned in their e-mails, too, although I know it was because I had my resume up for about a week on monster.com. However, I am annoyed that they just assume I'm going to travel, when it's clear from my resume that I haven't worked the bedside in about five years and therefore would not be eligible to travel. I am going back into acute care and then I'd like to travel, but I'm not ready now.

I have just accepted my first assignment with Liquid Agents. They are based out of Richmond, TX. I was wanting to go to Texas so that is what attracted me to them. Within 3 days they had successfuly gotten a interview for me and I had a new assignment. I have not started this assignment yet, but I have to say so far so good in working with them. If you are interested I would be happy to share my recruiter information with you. Just private message me. Will update you if my experience with them turns sour. Thanks

I worked for liquid agents. My recruiter was awesome! Great assignment. No complaints.
