Linfield College - Spring 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone! I started this page because I read posts from last cohorts from people discussing their admission process. If anyone has applied for Linfield College of Nursing's Spring 2020 application I was wondering if you would be interested in sharing your GPA, experience, etc. and we can also share when we hear back regarding acceptance! Thanks and I hope to hear back!

The new location is the campus of University of Western States. It’s near the airport.

Yes I live in Portland! Unfortunately, the commute to both the locations will be long for me. I live around 20 miles away for both. I live too close for me to want to live on campus but still a rather long drive:(

Oh I see! So living on campus is the best option for u ! I have a lot of friend living in Salem commute to school. Where u complete prerequisites?

I live with my parents so I want to keep the free housing and not go into more debt so I’ll try to endure the terrible commute. I completed my pre reqs at PCC. You?

I live with my husband! And I am the same with u complete at PCC. I am registering for Microbiology retake to improve my GPA in case I dont get in.

How bad is the commute for you?

30 minutes by bus. I dont drive ?

I will be moving from Olympia, WA if I get in. I’m not sure where I’ll find housing at, I heard that it’s cheaper to live in Vancouver, WA and to commute to the campus.

What are your opinions on that? I’ll just be getting an apartment somewhere in the surrounding area to commute.

Vancouver is good option too! I have a lot people live in Vancouver. Or u can live in SE, it s cheap too

I would get an apt in SE Portland Bc the new location is there!
