With the application deadline for Linfield's Summer ABSN start behind us, I figured I would start a new topic for those who applied for the 2019-2020 cycle so we can keep each other in the loop if/when we hear back from this program and provide support during this painful waiting time.
I applied to both Linfield and OHSU(PDX) for ABSN, and have not yet applied to Concordia's ABSN program.
Since Concordia has a few additional requirements I was hoping to first see if I can make it into either one of these programs before reassessing and tackling those additional requirements ( 2nd Chem class, Kaplan exam, CNA)
Who else has applied to Linfield and is waiting to hear back? Any other schools you are waiting to hear back from? Top preferences?
Looking forward to hearing from folks, hoping we will be able to get it started this summer!
Congrats!!! I got wait listed unfortunately....Mindy said I'm high enough on the waitlist that I will likely get in on "short notice" which is pretty stressful!
Bhosk, hoping it works out for you. I know that when I spoke with Chris Mast, who works with Mindy, he said that for the Summer start they do get a good amount of people of the waitlist (as a lot of people who get accepted also apply to OHSU & Concordia)
Did they provide you the check list of items you need to complete before the start so that you are ready?

Thank you, me too.! No they did not, but I have a friend in the program now so she let me know what I need and I'm going to start getting titers drawn and all my other stuff in order!
I got wait listed for OHSU's ABSN, and still waiting to hear back from OHSU regular BSN, PCC, MHCC, and CCC! It's been a long two years, hopefully I get in somewhere! (trying to stay positive).
It sounds like you gave yourself a lot of options, I hope one of them works out! I only applied to OHSU ABSN and Linfield ABSN, & found out a few weeks ago that OHSU was a no, so I am a little nervous for Linfield.

Hi, I haven't checked, but if you want to make one I'll request to be added since this site won't let me send you a PM. I haven't sent in my confirmation in yet, but I fully intend to start Linfield in June even though I just got an invite to OHSU's 3yr program. I'd rather be done in 15 months.
I got in too! I will be moving up from Eugene, and am so excited to meet everyone. I haven't officially gone in and confirmed, but I plan on being there and cannot wait.
I just received my letter in the mail. I got accepted! I'm really nervous since I was more interested in the fall program but I'll take what I can get. I hope I can handle the work load. In any case, looking forward to meeting everyone!!
Hi everyone, I have also been accepted! Do you guys know roughly what tuition is for Linfield?? I have gotten in to a few other schools and price will most likely be my determining factor.
I got accepted, but emailed my decline today since I'm already committed to another school. Hopefully one of you on the wait list gets that opening soon! Best of luck!

Here you go! Unfortunately it's one of the most expensive programs, but they also do offer a transfer scholarship that helps with the cost (you could probably email financial aid to get more info on what that looks like).
