Linfield ABSN Summer 2018

Hi there,

I can't find a post for Linfield's Accelerated BSN summer 2018 start, so I thought I should start one and connect with other applicants. If anyone applying to Linfield for Summer 2018 could share any communications they receive, it may help us to determine when we may be getting letters. Looking at previous years, it looks like applicants have started to get letter of admission in mid-March and early April. I applied last year but realized I hadn't completed the Chemistry prerequisites so I got a denial letter on April 5th or thereabouts. I'm anxiously waiting to hear!

Hey Amy!

I applied too, I hope they get letters out soon because I would just love to have piece of mind about where to go for nursing school. Except I'm definitly nervous about how much scholarship money they might dish out. I definitly need to come up with 30K somehow if I want to go there. Im on the waitlist for OHSU, but am definitly not banking on it. Have you heard anything about admissions scholarships there for the ABSN program? I tired talking to them about it and they said basically no to any form of scholarships, but then you hear from years past that people in the ABSN program get them, so I don't know what to think. Perhaps they'd rather under promise and over deliver.

Congrats to you too!! I'm so thrilled. I was really worried I would have to go back east to go to an ABSN program.

I got my letter and found out that I'm very low on the waitlist. Hopefully I get in!

I found out today I am high up on the wait list. I'm excited to hopefully be joining the accelerated program this summer. Congrats to everyone who have already gotten in. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you.

I'm on the waitlist, too, but feeling pretty positive about being 5th on the waitlist. I still feel a little on edge and am waiting impatiently. I'm an older student and hoping I can keep up with all you young whippersnappers! Hopefully will be seeing you in June!

For those on the waitlist, I definitly know people who got into both OHSU and Linfield and have chosen OHSU, but just have not rejected Linfield's offer, yet. So definitly don`t lose hope or anything!

Got my email that I'm accepted into the program! For those on the waitlist, I was told I was 5th, so that can give you an idea of when your number might be coming up. Woohoo! See you all in June!
