LIKE: helping patients thru critical thinking, hands on care. Being challenged. Ability to work different shifts. Wearing scrubs and casual dress and not having to spend hundreds on business clothing. DISLIKE: female dominated profession. Getting picked on by the other departments (medical, pharmacy, RT, ect). Medication errors. The "nursing shortage" myth. Short staffing and limited resources so the CEO can get a bonus and the corporation can make more$$$.

I loved how nursing made me a better person through personal growth and development in my constant struggles to provide safe, competent and compassionate care. I despise the slow and insidious effect that corporate America pursuit of mamaximum profits has often hindered continued growth
