Try some of the suburban hospitals in the D/FW area: Las Colinas Medical Center seems to be heavily recruiting from out of state. Also try Methodist Dallas, Methodist Charlton, etc.

You can try the suburban hospitals, but L&D is one of the lowest turnover floors in the suburbs. They tend to keep the nurses happy with 1:1 ratios or 1:2 and state-of-the-art everything. It is scary competitive between hospitals to get women to want to have their babies at THEIR hospital.

I do know that Baylor is opening a new hospital in McKinney in a few months. You might take a look at that, but am not sure if they too will be BSN only.

I am not that familiar with the D/FW area, but have received multiple mailers recently from 'mid cities' (Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Irving, Arlington) recruiting experienced RNs - even offering bonuses for some positions like OR & CVICU. You may want to check them out. Sorry I didn't keep the details.
