I talk to the group of people I went to rehab with and some others privately on Reddit, etc and they are all health professionals. I'm hearing more that the monitoring agencies and different Boards are using lie detector tests, or polygraphs? Have you guys heard of this, what the hell?
For example, I've heard of them using a lie detector test after a positive urine ETG/ETS and the person denies they drank anything and sticks to the story. What about a confirmatory test, like a Peth instead? Or maybe they do the Peth and a lie detector test also?
This sounds ridiculous! All in the name of "public safety."

I took a pre-employment lie detector test 20-some years ago. Even though I passed it was an absolutely horrible experience. I would not do it again. I think, at this point, if I were told I had to take a lie detector test to keep my license I would tell the BON exactly what they could do with my license and find something else to do.

I'd rather do the lie detector than extra time for a false positive
