i wanted to start a thread for applicants for 2011 lichson, ill like to hear your process and just be there for all and go through the wait together. :clown: i know that hard parts are over with just the gruesome part is here WAITING! hope there some ppl out there going through the same thing as i

hi all,

I also applied to LICH and the waiting is killing me. I applied on March 07 and still no answer. I just called recently and they told me they are just starting to look over the application which doesn't make any sense because when I called they told me my application is in process of being reviewed. One thing I do know is that every time I call I get a different answer. This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

I meant to say when I called couple of weeks before they told me my application is being reviewed by the committee. Moreover, they told me it will be another couple of weeks before they start making some choices. All I know is this, by the time we will get a call for the interview we will be old enough to retire. lol

ooo thank god i thought they started calls already... i also haven't been able to log into the site can someone please post the number..this wait is killing me i wish they would at least give a time line when calls should be going out

tell me about it. You would think they would start calling by now. The freaking site has been down for a long time and I dont think LICH cares too much too fix it. Here is the admissions number (718) 780 - 1071. If you find out anything new please post it. Thank you

HI I called this week and they said that it will be another 2 to 3 weeks I'm losing sleep in sooo worried. I'm applying for the day program and wasent too happy with my TEAS exam either. Do you have you pre requsits done?

I actually have a bachelor's degree in science so I have most of the sciences and psych from my degree. just need to take nursing courses. I am just glad I do not have to pay full tuition.

Congrads on finally getting a call. Speaking on behalf of allnurses.com we wish you lots of luck on your interview. Read up on the posts from people that did actually go to the interview and read up on questions that they ask. Its better to be over-prepared than under I always say. I also have a bachelor's of science degree and didnt do too well on the teas either. I hope I get a call too. If you dont mind I would like to know if they called you on the cell phone or house phone because i am practically never home and my home voice mail machine doesnt work that well. Also, what do you mean when you say your glad you dont have to pay full tuition?

My GPA is not great at all 2.75. Thank you. I hope that it does go well. I am researching this site to see how others explain LICH interview process. I believe they called my house first, then my cell phone. It was unavailable number. I work at LICH and whenever I would call my house phone or a cell phone, the numbers at LICH show up as unavailable. I suggest you do not screen calls, pick up to numbers that show up as unavailable. I was lucky to be near my cell phone to pick up the call.

What I meant to say I do not have to pay full tuition is that the classes that I took for my undergraduate, etc. sociology, psych etc. I do not have to repeat making my course load and tuition lower than those who would have just started the school.
