I am planning to become licensed in my home state of NJ and then apply to Pennsylvania for licensure by endorsement and a temporary practice permit. (I don't yet have a job, and I want to be licensed in both states so that I can start a job in either state.) I have two questions:
(1) In your experience, how long did it take to get your Temporary Practice Permit once the PA BON had your application?
(2) After reading the application, I am a little confused about whether I have to have my official school transcript submitted to Pennsylvania, even after I am licensed in another state. Do I have to have my transcript sent to them?
Thanks so much for any help you can give!

Unfortuantly they do send for your transcripts I had to do it for my Ohio licence it was very frustrating. plus if you have a compact state licence to endorse then you have to go through NURSY

I endorsed my license to PA this year. Sent the paperwork in end of April and received my practice permit first week of June. Still waiting on my permanent license. I previously had my license endorsed in other states, and it took about the same time frame (about a month). It was weird because I got my permanent licenses before the temporary permits (or in the same week), but not in the case of my PA license. Wonder what's up with that? I hope I get my permanent license soon!
Thanks so much for that info! Did you have to send them a transcript, or did your school have to send it directly to Pennsylvania? Did you have to go through Nursy (I think that's what it's called?), or was everything old-fashioned paper that you mailed in?
Thanks again!

I had my VT license endorsed to PA last year too and it took me 2 months to receive my TPP. Received my permanent license 2 months after I received my TPP.
