I am new in this forum, I would like to seek for your help regarding registered nurses license verification for visa screen purposes. I am outside United States and I will be needing the visa screen to complete my requirements for employment and immigration.
However I tried to research and found nothing on Texas BON website regarding this procedure. My original NCLEX is registered in CABON but was endorsed to Texas.
Visa screen by CGFNS requires all licenses issued by the homecountry and in United States. I tried to email texas bon thru the address posted in their website but there was no response. I tried looking for answers in other forums and blogs but have found nothing.
I hope you can help me, kindly enlighten me. Thank you and more power.
Thanks God finally got an answer from texas BON costumer sevice. I tried to patiently call them, emailed them and faxed them at the numbers posted in their website. The inquiry for license verification for a foreign educated nurse like me who need to obtain a visa screen in cgfns should do the following:
1. Send the license verification form printed from the website of cgfns.org for visa screen.
2. Place a bankdraft of 25 USD payable to Texas BON.
The same license verification fee from one state to another state that is mentioned in their website.

hi! anyone else doing this step currently? i was browsing through texas bon's website and the fee for verification of licensure is only $5..now i am confused. i sent 2 emails to the bon already and still no reply until now. Is it still 25$ for the license validation requirement for the cgfns visascreen? Ty

Thank you for contacting the Texas Board of Nursing. In regards to your concern, please submit a Verification of Licensure form and allow 10 business days for processing. I hope that this answers your inquiry and please contact the webmaster with any additional questions. Most agencies requesting verification of licensure will provide a form that you will submit to Texas Board of Nursing via email, fax or mail. If they are unable to provide you a verification form you may submit a detail written request. Be sure to include you identifying information, reason for the request as well what agency is requesting the verification and their mailing address to forward the form once completed. There is no longer a fee required for paper verifications. (If the requesting agency is another state board of nursing you will need to order the verification electronically onwww.nursys.com) All APRN verifications are done manually and cannot be order online via nursys.com.

My name is Darwin and I am situated here in the PhilippinesI have similar problems that you've encountered and I hope you can share to me some tips or answers with my visa screen with the CGFNS. I am confused on where to send the "verifcation of license" form on my USRN license. I passed the NCLEX-RN for the state of Illinois. Should I send the form to IDFPR or the Board of Nursing of Illinois? Does is it include any payment? I've contacted the Illinois BON but the guy who answered didn't give me clear answers about it. Form usually found in the vsc handbook on CGFNS fees will vary from state to state
I searched handbook on CGFNS but I didn't find form talking about validation of test results, the only forms available are for school transcript and license

With regards to your license verification for the visa screen, can I ask if it is possible that someone (in the US or with a US bank account) will pay for the money order to Texas board of nursing meanwhile I will send the license verification form from here in the Philippines to Texas BON? Do I need to send all the documents (IELTS, transcripts, etc) all over again to the cgfns for visa screen or just the board sending the verification that I passed Nclex is good enough? If CGFNS already have documents then you don't need to send them again. You just need to arrange with BON to send NCLEX results
