License Status - Pending???

I just received something from my state from the Bureau of Proffesional and Occupational Affairs. On this form it gives me a License Type - Registered Nurse and also lists a license number but under license status it says pending. does anyone know if this is the norm when you receive this document. I also went onto my state's web site and typed in the license # but to no avail.

Which state? Did you pass the NCLEX exam, do they have all of your documents?

Exactly what suzanne says... what state are you in? If they don't have everything complete in your file, although you might have passed the NCLEX, they will not "confirm" it until you have everything the BON needs.

Check with them if possible. Good luck!
