Hi,
I took my NCLEX on September 4th and just recieved a letter 2 days ago with my # on it. The letter states that they will be sending my license in 10 days...but at least I have the number.
Oh, the letter also said you can call the automated fax line to get a fax of your license while you are waiting, but I did it 4 times and never got the fax (sigh)
I know your anxious but you should get it in a few weeks, in the meantime, send out those resumes, job hunting is tough!
Good luck.
one can check online to verify license number and expiration date:
choose licensed practical nurse or registered nurse in drop down box
Theres a license verification website: http://www.state.nj.us/cgi-bin/consumeraffairs/search/searchentry.pl
But does anyone know how often they update it? It hasn't been since Sept 5th and I need my license number by Oct 3 in order to start work as scheduled that next Monday the 6th. Hopefully it's up by then, or I get it in the mail by then.
