Hi all first I would like to say that i have read a lot of posts here and it seems that the more i read the more confused that I am becoming :(. I'm Canadian educated and will be graduating at the end of March with a BsN. I wish to move to TX to nurse however I have heard that it is quicker to go through MN BON to do the NCLEX. Now my questions for anyone out there that may know are:

1. is it possible to take the NCLEX exam with out first taking the Canadian exam (CRN) ...... I will be taking this exam but not till June and wont find out the results until sometime in august or September of 06 so I want to just start the other processes so it doesn't take that long.

2. is it stupid or is there a faster way of becoming licensed for me other then going through MN then doing the TX process of license by endorsement

3. should I wait until i have done he NCLEX before I start the visa screen process.

Sorry if some of these questions have been asked and answered previous. as i have said i have read a lot of posts but my brain is now mush and everything just seems very complicated:crying2:

You have to wait to pass NCLEX before anything can be done with your application by ICHP.

You are not required to have a license in your home country, but you do need a completed set of transcripts to be able to even apply to a BON for licensure.
