I've never thought about this before, but we all know what the qualifications are to be accepted in to EC, but does your license have to be current in order to apply for or take the CPNE?

I believe once you are admitted, you are clear to follow the program to completion. Just remember, the nursing test are only good for 5 years.

:)according to the ec website, the required documents for cpne are;
cpr certification
criminal background check
health status report
passport sized photograph
proof of infection control practice training
these are listed under the cpne instructions,
try going to www.excelsior.edu/cpne
hope this helps, i have found nothing stating your license's must be current for cpne.

do you not have a current license as a lpn or lvn? you have to prove you have one upon admission and i would imagine they would re-verify your , license status after applying for the cpne.
