Just wondering if anyone has recently taken Adv. Pathophys and Adv. Pharma through Liberity Univ. online? If so, is it possible to take both courses together for 8 weeks while working full time? I've looked at the course info/assignments and it doesn't look to bad. Just want to know from somone with first hand experience. Thanks!

Is that Pat Robertson's University? They teach SCIENCE? WOW.. would love to take a course on evolution or geology there.

don't know if it's Pat Robertson's university or not, just wondering about the pharma and patho.

You might want to look into that.

Do you have any idea who Pat Robertson is?

I think you mean Jerry Falwell.

Pat Robertson = Jerry Falwell

I'm not sure I would take any science course from a university that denies evolution and thinks the world is 6000 years old...But then again, I'm funny about science that way.

If I were on the adcom.. and saw those credits from that university.. I'm afraid it would not sit well. Before you ask.. Yes.. I have been on more than a few adcoms.

So are you saying it's a bad idea to take classes from Liberty University because they are a Christian university? Do schools look down on that? There are many students here who have taken courses there and been accepted into programs.

Ask Liberty if they teach courses on evolution....

At the end of the day.. it really does not matter where you take the courses.. there are seats in CRNA school for almost anyone who applies.. You could take them online from the Univerity of Post Office Box 200 and a school in Florida will accept you.

There are many Christian colleges that advocate for science, but Liberty just isn't one of them. I couldn't even trust a Bible course there because science is applied to our understanding of Biblical history. Of course, I graduated from CRNA school in the early 80's and still can't believe that a CRNA program would even accept on-line science courses taught outside of your own university's program.
