LOL I can understand that. I have an overall score of 110, I’m definitely grateful for the residency points. I switched from NVCC to LFCC just to be closer to campus....unless I don’t make it into the warrenton campus which would then give me a loooong commute ?

Congrats!? ! That’s an awesome score! Almost perfect score!. I hope to get in. I’ve been positive in the past with getting in but I got rejected from a school in Colorado and ever since I’ve been scared ?.

That’s awesome!!
were you part of the HESI facebook study group?
I scored really well on A&P, and scored 89 on all other sections, but my critical thinking was one point away from giving me points. I didn’t do well on that section at all.

I think I’m at 75 points with the residency, so I’m super nervous.

Are these 80-90 overall points? Or HESI only? I feel discourage because of the 15 points I will be losing. I live in Richmond so I’m not sure who’s applying ?

HESI only. I also know plenty of people who have 45 or so points as well. Everyone in this group are the highest of points I've heard of thus far, honestly. I personally don't have near as many as anyone else who has posted in this thread.

@BKsCatch22 that is an amazing score. Even though the Fauquier campus is very competitive I think you are a shoe in! Congrats on the points!? Did you also apply to the middletown campus when submitting the application??

Thank you, I really hope so. I have a lot riding on this as I’m sure we all do. Yes, I put Middletown as secondary, but that would be an hour drive. I’ll be working full time during class (assuming I get in) so adding in a 2 hour commute per day vs. 30 min. will be challenging.

If I get in I’ll have to drive 1hr and 30mins ?. Do you know which campus is better? I read a forum about Faquier being a bit disorganized. Is this true?

I’m sorry to hear that ?. There is a lot of seats for both campuses. I really hope for

all of us to get in!

Thanks! I have 70 points. Regardless, I'll know where to shoot for next time. I hope that we all get in as well!

No, I didn’t even know about that! I have a strong medical background so I think that helped a lot. I was surprised with the critical thinking section, I def feel that you needed some type of facility or patient care experience to do well on it. Fingers double crossed for you as well!

I know that the nursing curriculum standards changed a year or two ago and all the schools were a bit disorganized for a while. I haven’t heard anything lately about it. Hopefully they have their acts together LOL.

Hoping all of this crazy coronavirus stuff doesn't cause a delay in our admission letters!
