Lexington Medical Center, Columbia, SC RN Residency Program?

Published

Hello everyone. I'm in the ADN program at Midlands Tech currently in my last semester, I will be graduating in May. I work for LMC right now PRN, and I was just wondering if anyone knows if they still have a Residency Program for new grads in the Med-Surg and Critical Care areas? I can't find anything online about it and I figured I'd ask here first before I called Human Resources or anything. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Idk ... but as of this year, palmetto health started their first residency program for med surg units. Apparently in the future they plan to create a residency program for more specialized units as well. I currently hired into this semesters new grad program there and there's a 2 year contract where if you break it you pay 5k if you broke it the first year and 10 k if you break it in the 2nd year. I honestly am not sure I'm following through with it myself as I am trying to work out of state ...

Anyways, if you're ok with that contract, look into palmetto Healths program. I believe they will be hiring again in the summer for may graduates!!
