Hello, fellow nursing and pre-nursing students!
We work hard and study hard all through nursing school, and many of us find ourselves munching hard in the process! :)
I did a search for "healthy study snacks" on allnurses and came up with one thread from 2008. I thought that was a tad outdated, and thought it might be fun for us to share with one another some healthy and YUMMY study snack recipes!!
I would love some new and refreshing ideas!! Let's share!

My go-to snacks are almonds and fresh fruit. I love berries! Each day I go into work, I bring almonds, fruit (strawberries, raspberry, blueberry and cranberries) water with cucumbers or lemon and sugar free gum. I concentrate better when I chew... I also have a coffee and tea bar in my office. I eat a salad for every lunch ( I mix the meats to keep it interesting). Stay hydrated!

Thank you for this topic! I'm trying..
Well two snacks I crave are fruit gummies and chocolate. To make them healther, for chocolate I get chocolate fat free pudding, low fat hot choc, yogurt, or powder for shakes. This doesn't always satisfy "the chocolate crave" but I found some great flour-less brownie recipes that do! (if you google "flourless brownies" you'll get a lot and can pick one that sounds like you'll like it the best)
I have found a make your own gummy fruit recipe but I never tried it. I buy some from Costco "yummy earth organic" they don't have as much sugar as other brands, but are nice and fruity...I guess not as healthy as other snacks though!
When I want something salty, I try to drink a glass of water with lemon squeezed in before I snack.
