Hi! I'm planning on applying to Lehman's accelerated nursing program after I finish my bachelors next spring. However, since I transferred between CUNY's this semester, I have a lot more classes to take for my gen ed's and my actual major (psychology) than I thought. So I was wondering if it was possible for me to maintain all A's if I manage to get a spot in both A&P 1 and 2, as well as HIN 268 and HIN 269 in the summer. Is this a good idea? Or is this just a recipe for disaster? Does anyone maybe have the past syllabi for any of these classes? Any help at all would be great!

Hi, I know this is a late reply, but I will put in my 2 cents.
I think no matter what school you take the courses, taking both A&P courses with lab, and 2 other classes all in the summer is a huge mistake. First, these are going to be accelerated 6-7 week courses so you will spend twice as much time in class and studying as you would during the regular semester. Second, you will be taking, in fact, not two, but four sciences - 2 lectures, and 2 labs. I am sure you would want to earn the best grades you can, so, it is wise for you to slow down.
There might be a leeway if, let's say you manage to take A&P 1 and one HIN course during summer session 1, and another A&P and HIN course during summer session 2, then, maybe, you will be fine. However, I have never seen anything play out this nicely.
P.S. You can take HIN269 during the nursing program.
In summary, I think you should slow down. You may take one AP and HIN in the fall, and the other AP and HIN next spring.
