they finally sent something

it's gonna be at 10 AM

Has anyone that’s been accepted in the accelerated program taken the dosage calculation exam yet? If so:

How many questions?

Multiple choice or fill in the blanks?

What grade is considered passing?

Online or in person?

Any studying suggestions?

Hello,

Can anyone who got into the generic program previously tell me how many times a week are clinicals and how long are they? (Just incase they stumble across this thread LOL)

@Shaniaw10 I checked in cunyfirst. We have clinical once a week 7 am to 7 pm
pretty much we have classes from Monday to Thursday.

Hi, I just finished the generic program- here's a little rundown of what clinical are like

First fall semester you'll have fundamentals: your clinical is once a week and it alternates between going to the hospital and simulation lab. (clinical is 12hrs [7am-7pm] sims is 9am-5pm)

First Spring semester: you'll have medsrug and psych clinical - med surg clinical is same as funds (alternates between clinical and sims labs), then psych start sometime in march and its about 8 consecutive weeks (time is about 8am-3pm)

Second fall semester: you'll have Peds/maternity. This clinical is every week; ~7weeks of Peds and ~7weeks of maternity  (I heard they might add sims to those clinicals not sure)

last semester (Spring): You'll have Medsurg 2 clinical, that's every week 7am-7p.

Hope it helps. Clinical start date/time depends on the hospital, and clinical is usually from the beginning of the semester til about a week before finals

Waouuu Congratulations ? can you please tell us what really help you pass all your classes?

Good luck everyone & don't worry if you don't hear back by the expected date... I was accepted mid June and I know people that didn't hear back until first few weeks of July.

So for me, I used Youtube a lot LOL:

-registerednursern (love her, takes a bit to get used to her accent but she's great!)
-simplenursing
-levelupRN (I also bought her flashcards for pharm, Medsurg, Peds and maternity)

I bought there's notes from RNexplained on etsy.. I loved her notes because I rarely had time to make notes, its so much so quickly.
