Lehman College Fall 2020 Admissions

This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!

Mine were really old like from 2009 and 2010. And I didn’t take them at Lehman. They were also for science majors, not like the science required for the program

Thank you so much already started my application to NYU for the Spring. Will focus on working this semester and save as much money as possible. Will also try to apply to other schools. I appreciate the encouragement ?

Maybe you can try college of mount Saint Vincent, I believe they are still accepting for fall

im a second degree and they told me I can either keep the science grades I have or retake them at Lehman. That’s what I did

Goodluck in your future. I am still waiting... how did you contact the chair? I've been calling the whole nursing staff haven't heard anything.

It was all luck I logged in to the zoom and she was the one that answered with another advisor. It was for something else but was kind enough to give me an answer right there. And she send me the letter a few minutes after we spoke. I wanted to cry because is not easy being a mother and having to work and be a 4.0 student. I command all of the girls out there that do but I feel proud of what I have accomplished. This will not stop me. Thank you so much for the great wishes.

They do zooms every week and it's usually got (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) on for some portion of it. They've also got AT LEAST 3 students who are IN but never got acceptance letters so if you feel like your scores were there GET ON A ZOOM.

I got lucky, I went to the zoom, they asked why I hadn't accepted and I was like 'because I never got an email'.

Checked both emails Spam and junk. Nothing. It was over a week since they supposedly sent it.

Then to top it off two different people in the BB discussion were like, 'umm, I just got this blackboard sign-in but never got an acceptance letter, am I in the program?'

It's rough but hang in there.

Also they told me that anyone who may have gotten in with a low GPA wasn't generic bc they literally just went 4.0 and down till it was full.

Finally, a question, to any alumni or current students, how do we find who LEHMAN's clinical partnerships are with?

I am curious of the potential sites since I'll have to commute from Brooklyn.

I haven’t been too active in this forum but Congratulations to all those accepted! I still haven’t gotten anything and at this point I know I got denied so I’m also applying elsewhere. My stats;

science GPA :3.3

overall:3.7

HESI:94.3

CT;820

where do we get the zoom log in information from? I didn't even know we could go on zoom and talk to the staff in the nursing department.

Contact via Zoom. They've made some mistakes. Don't sell yourself short until they tell you personally you're not in.
