I am a pre-nursing student who is considering being a Legal Nurse Consultant because of my passion for both nursing and law.I need some advice and info. on this career, and how i can be successful at it?. Also i understand that i have to have at least 3 years of experience as a Rn which will be when im 23. So basically im asking what is the average age for a LNC? is it possible to become 1 at 24 years old?? and is it hard for them to get hired by law firms etc.?? what are the duties of a LNC? what is there salary?? and lastly will this job be in demand in 3 years??

Whatever information you can provide me with is appreciated.

Thanks in Advanced.

Yes, this career will be around. There will always be a need.

Age isn't really a factor, I don't think, but I've never seen any stats on that. It is nursing experience that is the key.

Many LNCs go to in-house firms; the majority are self-employed.

Good luck with your nursing career and the LNC consideration later.
