Legal and ethical considerations

Published

Hey all, just trying to power through my essay and I've come to a section regarding legal, professional and ethical considerations for a specific case. The case is a ficticious elderly woman with a #R NOF and she's had a total hip replacement. She's got mild dementia and is constantly confused and speaking another language making it hard for nursing staff to care for her. She's got a daughter who will be caring for her once she gets home and an abusive son in law. The issue I'm having is that the assignment is flitting back and forth between being specific to day 1 post op care (had to do a full care plan and essay section on that) and the the case in general, which will encompass the abusive son in law etc. I have so far come up with Consent and right of refusal as two considerations and I'd like maybe 1 or 2 more. I'm really stumped and getting quite sick of writing this thing as we've had zero guidance from our tutor and I really just want it out of my life. :( Any tips or even just pointers on where I could find info? I don't expect people to write my essay for me, I'm just a bit brain fried at this stage.
