I did the "phone interview" this morning. It was just a confirmation of what was on the application already. I interview next Tuesday. Any tips?
Has anybody else applied to the July internship?

Hi i just applied for the rn residency program at lee memorial health. Can anyone tell me more or less some of the interview questions --its gonna be my first interview after speaking to the nurse Recruiter.

If this is the director interview there will be lots of situational questions:

Think of a time where you had to deal with a difficult patient/family how did you handle it? What did you learn?

Think back to a time where someone misinterpreted what you said and how did you handle it?

Think of a time where you had to go above and beyond to make a patient happy?

How would you handle a situation if a physician disrespected you in front of a patient?

How would you handle a situation if you witnesses your preceptor or charge nurse doing something unethical or could cause harm to a patient?

Bottom line it's all about patient safety. Good luck!

Jen do you still work at Lee Memorial? I'm actually from Miami as well and I'm about to have interviews with two units and wanted to get your feedback about relocating and stuff
