Everywere could be stressfull situations...the problem is you could manage your self in stresfull condition? Make a scale... what means stress for you....we can have different meanings for stress and what is for me stress for you could not be... so you need to decieded your self...what means for you "TO MUCH". That is all! Knowing that you could deal with rest!
I've been a nurse for 12 years. No job is less stressful. There are just different stressors depending on the position. Even Home care........which I naively thought would be lower stress.......was not. Hospice which you would think "well they are dying" no rushing required there....also not true. Try having 2 patients dying at the same time on opposite ends of the county and no one to help you. There have been times over the years when I seriously questioned my choice of profession then I have a day when I truly make a difference that reminds me why I keep doing it. I'm sorry that I can't give you a good example of a lower stress position. I have not had the fortune of finding one yet.

I totally agree!! When I get really stressed out, I become extremely irritable and can't focus on anything. I have mild OCD, and it is not fun at all. I hope I can survive nursing school.
