learningext question, ncsbn course...

Published

How many questions total were on the website? I am doing the kaplan review course but I intend to take the ncsbn just to practice their questions as recommended by so many on this website... Do you also recommend the 3 or 7 week course?

I finally scheduled my exam and I am scared as hell... :uhoh3:

I am taking the course right now. There are at least 1000 questions on there. When is your test date? I am testing next week, and just signed up for the 3 week course this weekend. I am only focusing on the questions though, not so much the content.

Since your date is far away, you can go ahead and do the 7 week if you want. But, are you using any other materials? I have used Kaplan, NCLEX 3000 and Saunders mostly. I decided to sign up for the learningext website because I feel like I exhausted all of the questions in Saunders, and needed some new questions to look at. To save money, if you are already utilizing Saunders or Kaplan, you can study those to no end, and then towards the end of July, see how you feel and then sign up for the 3 week course if you feel you still need more review or aditional questions to look at. Hope that helps! I can't say for sure if I LOVE the learningext website - it does have some good questions on there, but there are a lot of grammatical errors, which really surprises me!!!

The NCSBN is not as goog as I thought. But it does have some quite good questions. Still deserve to spend time to work. I think 3 weeks will be quite enough. I only do the questions too. The rational of answers are not as clear as Sandra.

Kaplan messed me up.The learningext is a lot better especially for ANXIETY i got it Saturday and took my exam today Tuesday. I was thinking $49 is like going to the movies and dinner...so it's worth it. My N-CLEX not too sure got 85 questions and...I don't know yet. hoping for the best. Do not go back to your books after the exam. I thought i passed ....then after reading sooo much I PANIC and about to have a nervous breakdown. Keep your head up and I'll let you kno is I passed or not

It did help a lot. I did not get over 80% only in few subjects. The questions are very similar. If you do it before the test your confidence goes up and anxiety down. I really liked it.

So, how did you do on the NCLEX?
