LEAP Certificate Pathway Summer 2024

Nursing Students SRNA

Hello All!

Is anyone applying to the Summer 2024 LEAP program and has insight in the program and interview process? Applications are due in almost a month and from what I read the interviews come quickly and are intense. Any tips appreciated!

Hi everyone, I also applied but it was on the last minute. Two days prior the deadline. I came to know about this program a week before the deadline and I managed to finalize my application. I also know a friend who is in the program and he recommendations this program specially if you have had unsuccessful CRNA school interviews. His stats are 3.09, over 5 years ICU experience and CCRN. We both applied and got interview from other schools but was not able to get accepted so he applied for the leap program in 2022 and got accepted. He is currently finishing up his course and will join one of the program soon. We just have to wait for the school to send out invites. Good luck to everyone who applied to this program. Hope we hear back from them soon.

Does anyone know anybody who got into this program but didn't directly apply to CRNA school first and got rejected?

Hi if you don't mind sharing what the program is like, your stats and if they ask EI or clinical questions during the interview process? Thanks so much ☺️

Awesome how is the program. Are there a lot of test. How was the interview process? Are the classes remotely or do you have to take them in class. Just a little nervous on the process.

So they ask a combined mix of clinical questions and emotional intelligence questions. You definitely need to know your clinical well . The program itself is intense. We have quizzes every week for each section, and 2-3 exams per semester per class (2 classes) and a paper (1 class).

They are all remote classes with 1-2 weekends where we do Simlab and then a weekend for midyear conference.

Awesome that helped a lot. How do you know what school you will be accepted to after the program. Do you get to choose the school you want to go to?

You are given a chance to pick your top 3 and then in the beginning of your 3rd semester you'll find out which one you get picked for. The program director of Leap markets you to the directors of the programs and it's almost like a draft (program directors will select who they feel is a good fit) so it behooves you to do well in class and pay attention since the directors of the programs are often times the lecturers.

You are awesome. Is it OK if we keep in touch via email if that is OK with you. Or text message.

Were you able to work during the program?

Are the classes extremely difficult?

Are the onsite requirements all at the Case Western campus or are we required to travel elsewhere?

Thank you so much for your insight! I applied for the 2024 cycle so hoping to score an interview.
