Hello,
I asked a bunch of nurses I know the same question and they all came back to me with this:
Rapid Interpretation of EKG's by Dale Dubin
Amazon.com: Rapid Interpretation of EKG's, Sixth Edition (9780912912066): Dale Dubin: Books
Its been around forever but has been consistently updated, now in it's 6th edition. And it's written as if you are having a conversation with an expert. I highly recommend it.
Free and I think you will find them helpful.....

Electrocardiogram (ECG, EKG) library
Thanks for the resources!
Halleh, I heard that book is great. I just wasn't sure if it focused more on rhythm interpretation (on a standard strip) instead of 12-lead interpretation. I have ECG Workout by Jane Huff RN which is great, but doesn't go into 12-lead interpretation. ECG's Made Incredibly Easy is also another good source but it only touches briefly on 12-lead interpretation.
Another great book that I've used is:
12-Lead EKG Confidence a Step By Step Guide
Its a bit more expensive but it focuses on the 12-lead and breaks it down in a way so that you understand the whys and hows instead of strict memorization. It's really user-friendly and interesting.
Hope that helps!
A really good online source....
Follow this guy....
And this is a free online video lecture on learning 12-leads.
Check out Bob Page. He is a well known EMS educator and teaches a great 12-lead course all over the country and also internationally. You might want to check his website to see if he will be in your area. I attended his 12-lead course which was filled with both Paramedics and RN's.

Looks like the one I can attend will be in Dallas...do you know how much he charges for his 12-lead course? I also see he has a book on 12-leads :)
I found this website recently while looking for content on an orientation manual I am putting together. It is an excellent reference and is free.

Can anybody recommend any good 12 lead EKG resources? Books or online learning (as long as it is reasonably priced!) My institution no longer offers a class and honestly the online modules I have tried haven't been very effective...I feel like I need a really good review book or some sort of online presentation that I can view. I seem to do better when someone tries to explain something to me. Thanks everyone!
