Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

Specializes in MSICU/NICU.

Does anyone know about the pediatric RN Internship program at LeBonheur Children's hospital in Memphis? Like how to apply, qualifications and all of that. I will be graduating from an ASN program soon and I would LOVE to work there someday, but I haven't been able to get much information on it. Has anyone been an intern/extern at Le Bonheur or started working there as a new grad? If so- I'd love to know how it went for you-- Any info would be much appreciated :)

LeBonheur is going magnet. They will not hire an ADN anymore, especially a new one. That is straight from the recruiter. I talked to her three times and same story. Absolutely no ADN hires.

I had no idea. Is this for all of the Methodist hospitals or just Lebohner?

I actually know ADNs who work there who say you have to prove to them you plan on getting your BSN upon hiring, and I am a ADN student who has 2 intern applications being sent on their way to the hiring managers, per HR. The people I know who work at LeBonheur say the recruiter has to say that. They do, however, want to be all BSN by 2020. You need to go to their website and apply, but just know, it takes about 3 months for them to hire.

This is the TRUTH!!! I also know more than a few folks who graduated from Southwest recently and were hired there even before taking the NCLEX. They give you 3 months to pass.
