LCON ABSN Fall 2017!!! Insight Needed

U.S.A. Tennessee

Hey guys!

So, on this journey of applying to nursing school, I have LOADS of questions that I don't want bug the admissions office about (because I'm quite frankly a Nervous Nelly) lol

Was the application process to the U of M nursing program surprisingly easy? Was I forgetting something? But it was refreshing compared to other programs who want your whole life story, blood type, interview, etc.

Does LCON only look at your prerequisite GPA or your overall GPA? And what's their cutoff GPA?

When will I get an answer???:arghh:

Any answers or knowledge of the admissions process would be greatly appreciated!:D

I just saw mine as well!! Hope to see you then!

Hey! Congratulations!! See ya there! :D Such a stress reliever!

I know!!! So relieved! Have you emaile stout acceptance form yet? I already have lol..

lol not yet, will do it today for sure!! Thank God I spoke to them on the phone today, my UM email wasn't even linked to my personal email address! I had no idea, so I checked asap and my acceptance letter was there :))

For those of you who have already gotten your acceptance letters to the AcceleratedBSN at LCON , what were your overall Cummulative GPA's if you don't mind me asking?

My overall was a 3.33 and my science gpa was a 3.6..

Lol awesome! One more question (sorry !) ... for the accelerated path since many people have a bachelors degree in another field, do you know if they just look at the overall gpa only because of some people's bachelors possibly not requiring sciences or what?

I believe they look at overall gpa. I probably wouldn't gotten wait listed if they would've looked at only the science gpa lol..

Hey everyone! It's been a while since everyone has spoken. For those of us who were accepted, is anybody finished with their checklist? Im almost done, I have my health examination left. Oh and if anyone has ordered uniforms, could you give me an estimate on how much you spent???

Hi! I finished my checklist yesterday and my scrubs came in last week. I bought them at Landau and spent $158 on 3 sets of tops/bottoms and one lab coat plus the embroidery.

Omg that's not bad at all!!! I'm almost done with my checklist. The only thing I have to do is to get my doctor to sign my health examination form next Tuesday. I'm gonna go ahead and pay for my uniforms next Tuesday as well..

Do you know where you're going to have your drug panel done?
