LCON ABSN Fall 2017!!! Insight Needed

U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

Hey guys!

So, on this journey of applying to nursing school, I have LOADS of questions that I don't want bug the admissions office about (because I'm quite frankly a Nervous Nelly) lol

Was the application process to the U of M nursing program surprisingly easy? Was I forgetting something? But it was refreshing compared to other programs who want your whole life story, blood type, interview, etc.

Does LCON only look at your prerequisite GPA or your overall GPA? And what's their cutoff GPA?

When will I get an answer???:arghh:

Any answers or knowledge of the admissions process would be greatly appreciated!:D

I haven't heard anything from LCON yet.

Specializes in Infusion, MedSurg, Hospice.

I've heard that they are short staffed now so it took them some time to review all of the applications. Another applicant called them and was told that they will send letters by the end of the month. I was also accepted to UTHSC and the deadline to let them know my decision is March 31. I was trying to wait to hear back from LCON before deciding but I didn't want to miss an opportunity so I accepted UTHSC today.

Congratulations!

I'm an out of state student from Houston trying to apply to LCON ABSN. I had emailed them about a month ago and they said decisions will be sent mid-March but nothing yet. And I don't want to bug them haha! Maybe we should be hearing something soon. Just wondering if anyone heard anything from the LCON ABSN.

Congratulations!

Have you heard back yet?

I haven't heard anything! Except last week someone emailed me in regards to my previous degree (like they didn't even look at the application). I've toured UT in the meantime and fell in love with it. I went ahead and accepted my seat at UTHSC because I'm scared to miss the opportunity and the more I looked into it, the better the program looks at UT.

Do you mind sharing why

They asked if I had a degree already and that's it

Hey guys just spoke to the admissions department and they told me we should be hearing from them via email within 2 weeks, good luck!

It's ridiculous how long this is taking! I even heard back from Union yesterday and they have rolling admissions.

Guys!!! Literally right after posting about hearing within 2 weeks, I checked my UM email and my acceptance letter was sent out this morning!!! I just saw it! Ah! :))) good luck to the rest! :)

Hello,

I just got accepted to Tri-C (Ohio) Nursing program for fall 2017 days! Looking for people starting the program this fall at Metro campus!!
