Thought I would start this thread to see who out there is planning on applying for the nursing program for 2015. I have a few classes that I am completing this fall and spring semester. If everything goes to plan I feel that I should have a fairly good chance getting in.
According to the letter I recieved in April verifying that my application was recieved they said that phase 2 would start after April 20th. The letter states that will be notified by lcc email and follow up notification will be forwarded by US mail. It would be nice to know fairly soon since there is a mandatory orientation on the 15th and 16th. I will have to arrange something with work since I am suppose to work from 3-11 on that Monday and the orientation is from 9-3.
Congrats everyone, hopefully Icequeen has gotten good news about the advanced program.
Sending in my contract tomorrow confirming my acceptance. Didn't have time to do so before going to work today. Two weeks until orientation. Going to be busy getting everything in order before the fall semester starts, along with that I will be moving in July.
I did not get an email, yet. I'm not sure if I have enough points to get in --I know I will be on the cusp; if I don't get in, it wasn't meant to be --I have been debating it as I want to apply to MSU and get a BSN in the fall...the only thing is having to take now a Chem and a Stats class!! I was looking at the RN to BSN programs and entrance to these BSN programs sometimes requires more prereqs and they all [for the most part] looked part-time over 3 years and all online..?! This whole process has really made me debate which move is best for me. I'm still left inpatient, though, waiting from LCC !!!

Was wondering if anyone has heard anything back from the school yet about point totals? Still figure it is a little bit early, but with my last grade being released last Tuesday want to make sure my application doesn't get overlooked. Figured I would give them a call Friday if still haven't heard anything.
