LBCC Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello!

I am applying for LBCC ADN program for the first time and would like to connect with others

If you all don't mind me asking, what is your overall and science gpa?

Science is 4.0 overall is 3.4

Oh, this has been a turn off for me and I won't be applying again. I applied to other ADN programs that accept based on merits and will be pursuing those. I hope everyone gets better news.

Hope you get in at another school!

Checked the mail today. No letter

Hopefully tomorrow!

I received my letter on Saturday. It's my first time applying and I have a 4.0 in my science as well as a 4.0 overall and I was placed on an alternate list. My friend who also is a 4.0/4.0 got accepted. Apparently its hard to get into this school even with perfect grades. I think the fact that I didn't do my prerequisites at LBCC played a role. LBCC can shove it! Jk I'm sure all will be well and I will get in somewhere. Good luck ya'll.

Hello, what ADN programs did you apply to that accept based on merits?

Cal State Long Beach accepts based purely on merit by ranking everyone purely based on their science and golden 4 gpa's, as well as their teas score. They're not ADN though.

GWC, RCC and saddleback..saddleback is my #1 choice since the program is like top rated

As expected, I received my denial letter today.

Checked the mail again. Still no letter.

Same here... but like Erl09 said, they're most likely denial letters. :/

Damn okay. Hope not

Just got mine today, also a denial letter :( Still waiting to hear back from 3 other schools, hopefully I'll have better luck. Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to everyone else :)
