Hello!

I am applying for LBCC ADN program for the first time and would like to connect with others

I haven't heard back yet but I also applied to 3 other schools so I just hope to get accepted somewhere. Did you guys do your prerequisites at LBCC? Congrats to those who have been accepted :)

I didn't, I did all my prerequisites at CSUF since I was going to school there.

got my denial letter today. pretty bummed out because it was my 3rd time applying there and in the nursing orientation they made it sound like applying that many times was a shoe in. oh well, wasn't meant to be for me. i applied at golden west, rio hondo, cerritos and santa ana college so hopefully they have better news for me.

Wow after reading everyone's comments I feel super discouraged, this is my second time applying and I as well am expecting a denial letter. It is so true they made it seem like applying that many times would be a foot in the door especially by the third time. For those who it's their third time applying will you guys be reapplying for a 4th time?

I also got my denial letter today.

It was my first attempt, 4.0 Science / 3.9 Overall GPA.

I mostly took my prerequisites at El Camino college and hope getting into their program.

if i don't get into another school then i'm going to apply again. my science GPA is 3.0 so not super great but not terrible. overall GPA is a 3.5. i miss a lot of points on experience at other schools so i am going to try to find a job that gets me more points for my next applications. it is super discouraging but once you're in, it'll be worth it! i'm going to keep trying

I applied to harbor college as well, haven't heard back from them. Good luck to everyone hopefully we get in somewhere. I was hoping to get in at lbcc this time, last time I was an alternate I guess they don't take that into consideration.

I applied to LAHC also :) I didnt want to do lottery systems because of the disappointment but the program is so great. Let's cross our fingers
