Hi everyone!
I didn't see a thread for this cycle and figured I should make one as a place to get updated on when people are getting their letters and so on.
It's my first time applying, so hoping for the best! Good luck to everyone. :)
I got my letter yesterday! It's only one page so it was very deceiving but I have an advisement meeting on May 26th. This was my second time applying to LBCC, I had a 4.0 on my prereqs and I think 3.6-3.8 for all other classes. When I was rejected last semester, it took about a 1.5-2 months for me to get my rejection letter. So it seems as if they get the acceptance letters out first. LBCC was the only college I applied for during both semesters. They have an interesting acceptance procedure. Don't be discouraged if you don't get in the first time! You actually have a better chance getting in after you have applied more than once.
I read on another forum that you are expected to learn medical terminology on your own before you start and that they will quiz you on it. O_O I'm sure they will tell us more info at the advisement meeting.
Good luck everyone!
I just got my denial letter today.(my stats are 4.0 science GPA, 3.5 overall GPA, 85% on TEAS V)
I'm disappointed but hopeful for the other 2 schools I'm waiting to hear back from and hopeful to apply for spring if need be.
Good luck to everyone and I hope you guys get in!
I also received my denial letter today. My stats are 4.0 science gpa, 3.3 overall gpa, and 95% on TEAS VI. However, I was accepted to Rio Hondo and will most likely accept my seat there. Good luck to everyone in getting in somewhere!
