Lawrence Memorial/ Regis College

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone!

I am new to this website, I have recently applied to Lawrence memorial and am wondering about how long does it take to get a response. I applied in the beginning of August, and in September received an email saying that my application was complete. I'm getting really anxious. Anyone else in the same boat?

Thanks in advance !!

Yes I took a lot of classes at Bunker Hill that's why I'm confused at why that want me to take 9 classes, but I will figure it out when I meet with someone.

Hi Mayx3c. Hope everything is going well. you must be on your second semester. I will start this January. I will take NUR101. Im so nervous but extremely excited. What was the hardest part for you?

Hi ro2184,

That's awesome to hear! Are you in the evening or day program?

I'm finishing up my second semester, 2 weeks away from being done. It's a lot of work but it's great. I think the hardest thing for me was learning how to study for the exams. You can't cram the material so just make sure you give yourself a good week to prepare for the exams. The 101 instructors are great and will literally hold your hand throughout the semester. It gets tough in 102 because they no longer hold your hand. Just plan ahead cut down work hours etc. you'll do great!

Thats good to hear. I am doing the evening/weekend program.

Oh okay I was going to say I could send you a few things I have from 101 but I was in the day program so I think it might be a little different.

Hello,

I just saw this post. I have applied to this school in November and I was wondering how soon I will hear from them?

Please let me know, this waiting is killing me.

Thanks!

I'm not really sure how long it'll take. I applied in August and heard back after thanksgiving. Good luck !

I was accepted there last year, but because of a family emergency I couldn't afford the fee to defer my application. I reapplied and received the e-mail of my file being complete a month ago. I don't know what to expect. I hope they won't hold the fact that I chose not to start the program back then against me.

I don't think they'll hold it against you but they'll definitely ask you about it. So just make sure you have a good explanation.

It took me about two months to hear back, but I know other people that it took three to four months. Hope you get accepted. Good Luck!

Hello everyone!

I did get accepted! I received the e-mail, I am just waiting for the letter itself.

:-)

Congrats! When do you start? Fall 2018?
