Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year. 

Specializes in CNA to RN.

My friend is in third semester next fall and she still wearing burgundy I guess they changed it but after the class ahead of her. That’s why they still offer navy blue for the senior class

Oh I see LOL!  I personally like the navy too, but I am just happy to be in the program this Summer so I would have worn neon glow in the dark green scrubs if they told us!

LOL SAME! I plan to start the program either Spring 2022 or Fall 2022 so I just want to be prepared and have an idea. I knew someone who graduated a little over a year ago from trade tech and her scrubs were navy as well. So yes, I think they recently changed the color to burgundy and have stuck with it since then. Hence the students who are almost done with the program still have the navy as opposed to the newer cohorts. Thank you for answering!

No problem I remember what it felt like to wait to get in and how I would check the site so much for any news.

Hi.

I applied June 2019. Would someone please tell me more or less where the waitinglist is at if they know. Want to kind of get an idea when will I reach the top to be called it if I applied on June 2019.

@Vals_scrublife They are done with all the 2018 applications I think they are going to start calling people on October and Nov hopefully you get in this Spring 2022

Hello, 

those in the program already. I know we’re suppose to wear all black shoes for class.
It it okay if the shoe or sneaker has a little color on d logo. Let me say if you get an addidas or a Nike OR must it be all black with logo and everything?

And how strict are they with that?

For those in the program this fall or continuing,  are you guys going to be in person, hybrid, or online? 
Is the vaccine mandatory for the program and clinical sites or optional, as in every week you have to get tested. What if someone doesn’t want to take it, did they tell you guys anything.

Hey! Right now, vaccines are mandated to do clinical rotations. We have some students sitting out the semester due to not being fully vaccinated per clinicals site mandated policy. Can it change? …. Maybe ….. but as of right now it is mandated. Again it is mandated per the hospital that we are doing clinical sites at, we are guest in their hospital so if we can’t meet their request, then we have to sit out for clinical thus sitting out for semester. Hope this helps!
