Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year.

@Brenda Sanchez their is no dumb questions! First you have to past a class in the Summer/Winter is just one month 3 days Monday Wednesday and Thursday from 8 to 12:15. There are many Youtube videos that show people how nursing students are and what is like to be in clinicals don’t be scare we got this.

Hi everyone! 
I've been reading this thread for quite some time now but am not just sharing about my journey with LATTC, which hasn’t been too lengthy yet. Just want to share that I applied for the program in a July 18th 2019. 
Anyone have some insight on when I may get in? As you all know this wait has been insane LOL

Hello and welcome. It’s really difficult to tell at this point. I guess we’ll know for sure when they start calling for Spring 2022, to see if they’ll start with 2019 applicants. I applied in April 2018 and they guaranteed I’ll be in for Spring 22 but since Covid happened, I’m skeptical.

Hi everyone! 
I just wanted to let you know I got a reply from A, I wanted  to share because I know that they reply so scarcely. She had let me know that in October they’re going to be accepting January and February 2019 applications .. (I hope it’s really more than this LOL) 

I am a July 2019 application and she can only estimate it will be another 1 - 2 semester wait for me. 
I hope this information helps someone here,

So March and April 2019 will get in Fall 2022. That means another 1 semester Wait for me again, I kinda knew it tho.?

but yes that’s what it sounds like!! I get the pandemic is slowing things down but it’s like there was no pandemic in 2019 aka no overflow of applicants. ? 

 

Anyways I wanted to see if anyone knows about this.. there’s a new TEAS version coming out October 2021. Since we all already submitted our passing TEAS 6 scores I wonder if we will have to retake the TEAS because version 7 will have been out like a year or so by the time we actually get accepted to the program. 
 

I hope we don’t have to retake, my anxiety was at an all time high with that exam LOL

We will not have to take the TEAS over usually when a new version comes out, that semester they accept both versions of the TEAS and  after awhile they don’t accept the old version. But Another semester wait again this is straight torture it just seems like I will never get in at this point March 2019 applicant here. I told you we would be in the same class @diamondzee1

I’m just scared if I get in 2-3 semesters after it comes out. You think there might be a chance they will make me retake?

For Fall 2020 semester they called names from August 2018-November 2018, so I don’t think they will only go through January and February 2019 applicants for Spring 2022. Especially if people decline their spots, they will go down the list more quickly. It seems like there were a lot of 2018 applicants so the fact that they’re finally done with applicants from that year is a good sign. They didn’t get any applications in December because the nursing office is closed for Winter break.

IKR, that's what it looks like. I am already tired of answering everyone's questions about when I'm starting, but its okay, we're almost there.
