Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year.
It is hard in the sense that it’s a lot of information given in such a short period of time, my advice to you is that, you must have your time management down! The only points you will get in this class is just the midterm and final, that’s it, so EVERY POINT COUNTS! This class is the intro to nursing, you will do fundamentals durning your first semester

I'm taking notes right now. Syllabus was given yesterday. There's no way u can read everything unless u split up with group members and each take a section or you read the main idea in each paragraph, look up bold words, graphs, etc. It's seven chapters for day 2, and we have not started yet!
When I took the class, I made sure that read every chapter from the “potter and Perry” text book that was assigned. The other books kinda repeat the same information but in a more condensed version. I never divided the reading because I was always worried that someone else would miss important information. For sure it’s ALOT, which is why time management is key, but it is doable.

Hi everyone . I applied August 2019 . Does anyone know previous or existing student st this school? I really want to know how the schedules look like ? And if they find it still doable without working, but have children ? I have 4 children I don’t work . I live in la puente, ca I pretty much did the prereqs. Sacrificing my nights got A and Bs, but im wortied if I’ll make it through ? Specially with the schedule is it similar from start to finish ? Days?hours?did any of you guys or current students study before the program do they advice any outside books and tools to succeed in this program?? Any info helps , thanks to all asking questions and answers it really helps a lot of us.

Thanks for responding , sorry if it was a dumb question. I just want to be ready with my children’s school/ daycare., traffic conflicting hours, etc , that way I don’t waist my time and can give up my spot as of now for someone else, thanx again
