Latent TB question

Hi all! I am in the process of getting all of my stuff done for PN school. In 2009 I had a positive ppd had a clear chest xray and took my 9 months of INH. Do I still have to get a chest X-ray before starting school? Thanks!

This is something your school has to answer. I'm going to guess the answer is going to be yes.

This will depend on your schools policy. Some people can no longer do the PPD skin test because they get a false positive result. For those nurses and students a chest xray is needed yearly instead of the PPD.
