Looking at adding a standardized breastfeeding assessment tool such as LATCH in hospital setting. Curious what tools you are using and who you contacted to get copyright release.
Thanks

Could you elaborate for the uniformed.
Does "LATCH" have anything to do with "latch on to" because if it does, "OUCH!"

Yes, it has to do with how well the baby is latching onto the breast, which is necessary for proper breastfeeding.
Here is resource explaining how the LATCH score works: http://www.cdph.ca.gov/programs/breastfeeding/Documents/MO-LatchBreastfeedingAssessment.pdf
We use the LATCH assessment tool at my facility, it works well for identifying who needs some extra help. I am just a staff nurse so I have no clue who they contacted to be able to use it, but we've been using it for years.

I am a CLC (certified lactation counselor), and we order our forms from the Healthy Children Project, Inc.
